Apologizing... for the lull in blog-land. I have been preoccupied with so many other things lately that the blog has been put to the wayside. I miss it and I am happy to be back in the swing of things. I love my blog & it feels so good when I have time to work on new posts!

Arranging... well, re-arranging to put it correctly.  A few times a year we move the furniture our living room to accommodate the Christmas tree or other things, but I was ready for a different change than normal. So I started drawing on paper and thinking of new ways to put our furniture without spending extra money. I am very happy with how it looks & wonder why I didn't think of this a LONG time ago! This is the corner of the living room where our TV stand had been for 10 years! Crazy!!!! 

Rocking... We went to listen to our friend play in his band in Minneapolis on Friday night. I lost my voice from screaming to talk to my girlfriends while we were there! haha We had a great time doing something out of our normal routine! Only downfall, I am not used to being up until 2am...Saturday morning with the kids came way too fast!

Loving...My newest DIY project! This chalkboard used to be in our playroom with a teal frame that I made a few years ago. It broke this past year, and I just never got around to fixing it. I saw it a few weeks ago and finally brought it upstairs this weekend for a little renovation.  I am pretty pleased with how it turned out for a first try! 

Thankful... for random acts of kindness. This small loaf of homemade wheat bread might seem plain. But this represents a random act of kindness I received on Saturday. This gift is from a man that we just recently met in our community through mutual friends. He enjoys making breads for friends & decided to deliver a loaf to us too. This is what kindness truly is. 

Craving... This amazing crockpot Cheeseburger soup. I wish I had all the ingredients, I would throw it in the crockpot tomorrow morning! Yummmm!!!
